📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A Newell Brands Analyst, IT Field Services role must possess a general knowledge of computer platforms, software and hardware in use at Newell Brands. They must understand and follow efficient and cost-effective methods of accomplishing tasks and goals. They are an active participant in team activities and collaborate with others for the successful completion of problem resolution and projects.
Responsibilities
Installation, setup and support of PC’s, Mac’s, printers and other peripheral devices Installation and support of software applicationsKnowledge of Windows OS, Mac OS, and productivity applicationsAnswering technical/support questions for the user communityDiagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software problems Ensure technical incidents/tasks are processed and completed in a timely and accurate mannerProvide correct routing and escalation when requiredCommunicate status of issues with requestor and management in writing and verballyCreate and edit technical and training documentationContribute to a positive and cohesive teamProvide mobile user support – remote connectivityProvide on call support during all non-business hoursProvide instruction to new employees on PC systems and policies, such as how to log onto the network, access email and other corporate systems and give an overview of current IT policy regarding the use of such systemsTravel to other sites as necessary

Qualification
A college level diploma or completed courses in computer sciences or related fields, or related relevant experienceMinimum 5 years of related work experience in desk side or call center support
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
Able to see, sit, stand, walk and write for extended periods of timeAble to view a personal computer monitor or laptop screen for extended periods of timeAble to use up to 40lbs of force occasionally, to move, lift or push objects, and/or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise
Travel
May require 15% travel annual
