📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
3rd Shift Maintenance schedule (7pm-7am)
Job Summary
The Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance & emergency repairs to all production machinery, striving to improve equipment reliability & glove quality, as part of the maintenance team.
Essential Functions
Perform machine setup and repair assembly and packaging equipmentPerform preventative maintenance routines on all production equipmentInstall, debug, and stabilize plant equipment as requiredAssist in Production/Maintenance-related assignments as neededCommunicate regarding issues and problem-solve with Production staff any quality and safety concernsRecord maintenance data as directed by the Maintenance Manager to monitor equipment performance, i.e. work orders, time cardsIdentify and report equipment concerns to the Maintenance ManagerParticipate in overtime assignments as requiredProvide “on-call” coverage as neededPerform other various similar and related duties as required by the Manager
Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Maintenance Technology field and or equivalent Education, Experience, and TrainingKnowledge of electrical and troubleshooting strongly preferredKnowledge of AB PLC programming and troubleshooting strongly preferred1-5 years of manufacturing experience preferredThorough knowledge of Maintenance jargon, Maintenance Best Practices Knowledge; OSHA, safety, etcProven ability to work in a team environmentWorking knowledge of GMP, OSHA, and Production needs.Able to work 12-hour shifts, overtime, and weekends
