The role involves strategizing, project management, product development and design. Having a collaborative attitude and strong interpersonal skills will help everyone thrive.Duties and Responsibilitiescoach, and support engineering teama technical strategy and budget proposaland monitor technical strategy performance metricsengineer team goals with engineering staff membersinternal teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are metnew product design concepts and lead development thru completionQualificationsdegree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or related field of studyyears of management experienceinterpersonal and communication skillsin 3d cad design software, Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, etc. Physical RequirementsThe Engineering Manager will have prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The person may also need to spend time standing watching and moving around a large machine. The environment could be moderately loud at times.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. As an exempt position, work hours may be extended occasionally.

Travel: Non-local, overnight travel 5% of the time
