About This Role

The role of Manager, Time Management Global is a customer facing role with skills needed to help business meet the challenges of time management globally. This role is responsible for supporting and implementing time management solutions globally across our different sites. This role will work closely with the regional and global HR and Payroll business teams in driving innovation and transformation in our time management systems and technologies . This role requires a commitment to operational excellence, service management and continuous improvement.. This person must have a passion for problem solving, strong relationship skills, payroll time experience and the ability to collaborate cross functionally. The main objective is to help Newmont foster team agility, improve collaboration and boost employee engagement.

Your role will consist of

Tactical

Ongoing maintenance of the Time Management Systems on the Noth America Region (Standard Requirements, Incidents, HRSPs, Upgrades, Annual Maintenance Plans).Perform detail analysis and provide solutions for Time Management Process.Participate on IT or Business Projects covering the Time Management stream.Solution Design and Delivery for Time Management solutions.Execute testing for Time Management Solutions when necessary.Generate detailed documentation of business requirements and solutions for Time Systems.Development of Documentation for Time SystemsPartner with Business and IT to follow Newmont and Country Standards, Policies and Legislation.Partner with other Business and IT areas to satisfy integration requirements for Time Management Solutions.Plan and coordinate the implementation of Time Management Solutions in collaboration of the Payroll team.Execute initiatives following project methodology (agile or hybrid) using Newmont’s project management tools.Follow Newmont’s IT operating model and best practices to deliver Time Management solutions.Work on ticket resolution, investigate, research and solution using available internal and external resources (online, vendor support, Newmont Support Team)

Operational

Prioritize work of the support team and oversee the quality and appropriateness of the work performedLead ongoing operational support, maintenance, updates and continuous improvement of the payroll ecosystem and its interfacesDay to Day operations include: scheduling and driving status meetings, ensure changes are clearly documented and approved prior to change review board, document and participate in root cause analysis meetings, review early watch reports with team and provide recommendationsResolve and/or facilitate resolution of problems including identifying cause to prevent re-occurrence. Identify and resolve business issues, escalate issues when appropriateResponsible for completing the planned execution of SAP time management solutions roadmaps and enhancementsTroubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis. Ensure adherence to all internal/external audit and SOX IT controls related to payroll solutions

Bachelor’s (undergraduate) degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent is required.Strong knowledge of Time Management ecosystems including integrations with SAP PayrollExposure to cloud computing applications as applicable.Applicant is required to have a strong SAP trouble shooting and maintenance background

Experience

Around 10-15 years of technology, people management and related management experienceMinimum 10 years of experience as Time Management consultant.10 years’ of industry/consulting experience with SAP platforms, applications and technologies7 plus years of demonstrated SAP Payroll and Time Management design and implementation experienceCertification as an SAP Payroll practitioner a plusExperience in working in a large scale global organization that have people on a wide range of time management solutionsExperience supporting SLAs, and managing both in-sourced and out-sourced IT services Experience in driving business process improvement initiatives Mining, construction, utilities or other heavy industry experience is preferred.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $106,800 - 126,825. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
