📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our prestigious Medi Spa/Surgical Center, NewSkin, located in Bellevue, Washington. As a Medical Assistant at our high-end facility, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients seeking cosmetic treatments and surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers in performing cosmetic procedures and surgeries.- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for procedures.- Take patient vitals, medical histories, and assist with patient assessments.- Provide pre and post-procedure care and instructions to patients.- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for testing.- Maintain accurate and updated patient records in compliance with medical standards.- Ensure cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and equipment.- Assist in inventory management and ordering of medical supplies.
Qualifications:- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.- Previous experience in a medical setting, preferably in dermatology or cosmetic surgery.- Proficient in medical terminology and procedures.- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines.- Flexibility to work evening or weekend shifts as needed.
