📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Print Manager is responsible for managing the production process all the way from early print design discussions to the actual production and delivery of the final publication and in charge of ensuring that all print jobs are finished accurately and have met or exceeded deadlines.
QualificationsAssociate degree3 - 5 years work experience in print production: mail, conventional & digital printingPrint production management experience in factory or warehouse environmentKnowledge of spectrophotometry and color measurementPrinting and Finishing industry experience preferredAbility to prioritize and meet deadlinesStrong leadership and communication skills
ResponsibilitiesOversee the entire production process, from managing critical due dates to setting and maintaining quality expectations for our printed materialsSupervise and manage press production, personnel, quality processes, and equipment for the pressroom; anticipate problems before they occur to minimize downtimeManage and control inventory of departmental suppliesManage vendor relationships and expectations, conducting press checks and regular audits to ensure that our high standards are consistently metManage and maintain client print budgets, deadlines and overall quality standardsEnforce quality control procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards in all printed materialsTroubleshoot workflow or operational issues and take corrective action to ensure standards, budgets, and customer service levels are met
