What you'll do: As a member of the Investor Relations team, you will undertake a multifaceted role focused on analytics, supporting the Chief Financial Officer with essential data and deliverables for internal and external financial and investor obligations. Key responsibilities include:Development of comprehensive board packages covering strategic, quantitative, and analytical aspectsPreparation of quarterly earnings packages, including supporting financials and responses to investor inquiriesFinancial modeling to inform business planning and cross-functional decision-making, collaborating with CFO, Tax, Treasury, and Financial Planning and Analysis teamsConducting research, monitoring, and reporting on competitive and market intelligence, including stock ownership and trading activitiesAssisting with marketing initiatives, investor roadshows, press releases, and other critical communications and activities
About you/ ideally, you have:3-10 years of experience analyzing financial and market data to develop quarterly earnings packages and board materials for public companiesA thorough understanding of both private and public markets, with prior experience in a public company environment preferred in addition to experience in private market investmentsStrong quantitative skills, ideally with a background in accounting and analytics (experience in Big 4 Accounting and alternative investments is advantageous)Exceptional analytical and reporting capabilities, with a knack for simplifying complex financial informationProficiency in written communication to convey financial and quantitative data effectivelyExcellent presentation skills, including the ability to optimize data representation in PowerPoint and Excel using various graphs and chartsAbility to thrive in a high-profile and high-pressure environmentRelevant backgrounds may include Investor Relations Analyst, Business Development Analyst, Business Analyst, or Accounting rolesEducation: A CFA, MBA, or related qualification is advantageous, with a CPA or strong academic background also considered beneficial
