📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Title: Senior Go Developer / Go ArchitectLocation: Alpharetta, GA or Berkeley Heights, NJ-required onsite 5 days/week Introduction: This role is pivotal in developing scalable and maintainable Go application framework components across our enterprise. You will be instrumental in translating complex software requirements into high-performance software that integrates seamlessly with RDBMS and messaging systems. Key Responsibilities:Develop scalable and maintainable Go application framework components for enterprise-level use.Translate software requirements into stable, high-performing, and scalable software solutions.Tackle challenging and intriguing problems in Go development.Develop and maintain services that interact seamlessly with relational database management systems (RDBMS) and messaging systems.Craft comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure product quality and reliability.Play a critical role in the architectural design and overall framework of the system.Ensure robust implementation of RESTful API services.Qualifications:A minimum of 8 years of hands-on architecture experience, with a significant focus on application design and development.At least 3 years of experience in Go software development.Strong working knowledge of concurrency in Go.Proficiency in CPU and memory profiling in Go, with practical experience in optimization.Deep understanding of Go's dependency management tools and frameworks.Experience with popular Go packages and frameworks such as Gorilla-Mux, Chi, Gorm, Go Kit, and gRPC.Solid foundation in building RESTful APIs.Extensive experience with PostgreSQL is mandatory.Prior experience in the financial industry is highly preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Desired Skills:Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment.Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a goal-oriented approach
