Custodian

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining sanitation levels in and around company facilities as set forth by company standards.

This is a freezer/cold storage environment*

Shift Days/Times

Weekend Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 7am - 730pm

Responsibilities

Cleans terminal with hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers and vacuum cleaners to meet company standardsRemoves all refuse from offices, restrooms, break-rooms and building daily ensuring trash cans are empty and cleanEnsures that restrooms are stocked with necessary suppliesRelocates, moves and adjusts office furniture as necessaryEnsures that pest control systems are operating efficiently and that the highest degree of sanitation and housekeeping is maintainedRemoves ice and snow from pedestrian walkways and parking lot(s)Maintains company grounds free from litter and debrisPrepares company required reports on labor and equipmentMaintains a log on the history of repairs by type of equipmentPrepare complete and accurate records and reports as requiredReports any safety problems to the shift supervisorComply with OSHA and MSDS standardsPerforms other duties as instructed by the Operations Manager

Must be comfortable working in cold storage environment.Attention to detailGood communication skillsPrevious experience required
