📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Full-Time Licensed Optician
Nielsen Eye Center – Norwood, MAExciting opportunity for a Licensed Optician to join a multi-specialty/multi-location ophthalmology practice, in our beautiful and newly renovated office. This position requires excellent sales ability, friendly, caring personality, and flexibility. Knowledge of frame board management/inventory and insurance plans required, and EMR a plus. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task. Travel between Norwell and Norwood offices required and mileage reimbursement provided.
We are open Monday – Friday (evening hours on Tuesdays)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSHigh School graduate or equivalentState Licensure or in the process of obtaining oneOptical dispensing experienceStrong customer service skills: communicator and listenerDedicated to building patient relationshipsStrong basic math skillsAwareness of and passion for current eyewear trendsEmbrace new technology & changeAbility to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
