📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Site Operations and Logistics manager to assist with the production of NightLight, a 21+ Outdoor Movie Series at Great Lakes Science Center
Duties:-Supervise and assist with the setup and tear down of each event-Manage, transport, and maintain event equipment and inventory (moving vehicle provided)-Supervise event staff, operations and vendors during event
Must haves:-Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading or supervising others-Reliability: must be on time, able to self-motivate and work without constant supervision-Availability: must be available for nearly all event dates below including rain dates-Flexibility: must be willing to take on whatever challenges arise to ensure a quality event-Professionalism: must behave professionally at all times with coworkers and guests-Ability to bend frequently and lift 50lbs+
Desired Qualifications:-Event experience-Management experience
This request is for 1099 contractor services. Pay begins at $850/event with an expected workload of approx. 20 hours per event, 14-16 hours event day and 4-6 hours of flexible preparation before each event.
