Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced threat assessment professional to join our global team. This person must be capable of building positive relationships with internal business partners including HR and Legal partners, law enforcement partners, and external mental health professionals. This candidate will use sound judgment, appropriate standard processes, and training to protect Nike.

What You Will Work On

You will be working on all global Nike-related matters involving threats, workplace violence, intimate partner violence, suicidal ideation, stalking, and matters involving weaponsThe investigator will perform complex and confidential workplace violence investigations and analysesAnalyze and assess risks and threats to our people and assetsLead day-to-day behavioral threat activities, including assessment, de-escalation, mitigation, and cross-functional coordinationDraft and deliver high-visibility reports, assessments, and presentations, often to senior leaders and partnersEstablish and cultivate intelligence-sharing relationships and partnerships inside and outside the organization

Who You Will Work With

You will partner with business partners throughout Nike including but not limited to line-level employees/managers, business leaders, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Legal, Loss Prevention, Global Security, and Intelligence teammates.

What You Must Bring

Maintain the highest level of integrity and credibility in everything you doThis position requires good analytical, communication, and investigative skills both verbally and written. Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to Workplace Violence PreventionBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience5+ years of practical experience conducting safety/security investigations2+ years of threat assessment, risk intelligence/analysis experienceExperience conducting physical threat assessments and investigationsExperience using social media aggregators, public records databases, case management solutions, and general open-source physical risk/threat databases

NICE TO HAVE

Certified or highly familiar with WAVR-21, and/or other assessment or investigative techniquesProfessional affiliation with ATAP, Certified Threat Management (CMT) certification
