The annual base salary for this position ranges from $88,800.00 in our lowest geographic market to $199,700.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

Who We Are Looking For

We seek a motivated, inspired and results-oriented individual to become the Security Manager for our Southern California Distribution Centers

The Security Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Screening visitors, vendors, and employeesRunning external and internal perimeter security protocolsSecurity vendor managementTraining and awareness programsIncident management and emergency response protocolsCrafting and implementing collaborative communication strategiesConducting vulnerability assessmentsSecurity infrastructure maintenance coordination and monitoringCTPAT CompliancePerimeter protection protocolsSecurity program reviewMitigate threat assessment findingsSpecial Event Security

What You Will Work On

In this position you will be responsible for running security programs, such as: access control, security vendor management, apply and implement the Global Security Standards, supporting the Nike/Converse California Distribution Centers in Southern, CA to support the goal of providing a safe and secure workplace for Nike employees and its guests.

Typically, your workday consists of meetings, phone calls and responses to immediate security concerns and oversight of the security operations at your assigned location.

Who You Will Work With

This role will report directly to the Nike Regional Security Manager for the Western US. You will collaborate with the Global Safety & Security teams, Human Resources, Business Operations, security vendors, Workplace Design & Connectivity (facilities), building landlords, contingent workforce leadership, local law enforcement and will manage the contract security service provider at your facilities.

What You Bring

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 3 yrs; Masters+ 4 yrs; Associates degree + 6 yrs; High School + 7 yrsProven experience leading teams in a multi-location corporate environment6 years experience in one or all the following fields: corporate security management, security and asset policy development, Law Enforcement, guard force utilizationProficient with MS Office Products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointExperience influencing key business partners and senior leadership3+ years of experience utilizing physical security systems, including access control, fire life safety, alarm systems, and CCTVProven emotional intelligence and ability to thrive in an ambiguous and constantly evolving environmentOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsFunctional ability to run, jump, and carry up to 50 lbsReliable form of transportation
