Job Description: Truck Driver/Production Technician
Physical Work Location: 1551 Vienna Parkway, Vienna, OH 44473
Shift/Hours (any rotating shifts): This will be steady 7:00am to 3:00pm (With some OT when needed – infrequent)
Interview Type: In person Vienna facility
Assignment Duration: 6-9 months
Any key specifics you are looking for in a candidate: CDL a plus must have a clean driving record – past driving experience in a manufacturing setting a must…This will more then likely turn into Temp to perm within the first year with no issues.
- How much of this job will be driving vs production technician? As currently needed several times per week. Will also be trained in our shipping department packaging product and loading out trucks.• How far will they have to travel with the shipments? Within 100 mile radius home every night.• Are they going across state lines? To PA as needed infrequent we are 10 minutes from the border…
PRIMARY DUTIES
Operate commercial vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.Transport material from one location to another.Safely load and unload material, ensuring that it is properly secured.
SECONDARY DUTIES
Operate distribution center/warehouse tools and equipment.Check dimensions of material before, during and after processing to maintain specified tolerances.Count and weigh pieces, weigh scrap and keep segregated by grades. Stencil, stamp, and/or attach ID tags to material and packages, as required. Color code various products, as required. Verify and package orders to customer specification. Transports material between workstations using side loaders, lift trucks and floor operated overhead cranes. Keeps production records and operates transmission equipment to enter, receive and send data.Perform other duties as directed including general labor duties.

High school diploma or equivalentMeet requirements on basic math & measuring skills assessmentCDL Class B required1 - 3 years previous manufacturing experience (preferred)
