As a Graphic Designer, you will play an important role in the concept, design and execution of various visual materials including consumer product packaging, email campaigns, product catalogs, digital advertisements, signage and promotional collateral to support the Nordic Ware brand. What you will get to do

Conceptualize, design, and execute retail packaging and other materials that are on brand, trend-right, and meet customer requirements with attention to detail.Produce print-ready art including thorough proofing.Participate in private label custom packaging process for customers.Communicate with printers on file/project details and timing.Work with purchasing department to identify best solutions for structural packaging designs.Ensure brand continuity and cohesiveness across many sub-brands and projects.Remain up to date on current and developing trends in packaging, advertisements, catalogs, and email marketing and utilize insights to drive great design.Assist with other areas of the creative process including photo shoot direction in our in-house photo studio, developing mood boards for new product lines and ideation of concepts.

What you'll bring to the role:

Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field preferred.Strong working knowledge and experience with Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.).5+ years' experience in graphic designAn online portfolio to share with the hiring team as a part of the application processA spirit of collaboration with the ability to work well with others, both in department and cross-functionally with other teamsClose attention to detail and strong proofing skills of own work and that of othersAbility to manage and complete multiple different projects within an assigned timeframeA strong work ethic, self-motivation and the ability to work independently while engaging with othersA strong eye for current trends and styles and the ability to adapt them to fit our brandStrong organizational skills are a must, with project management experience being beneficialPolished, clear communication skills (both written and spoken) are essential.Positivity and resilience with the ability to give and receive design feedback, adapting quickly when a change in direction is necessary.A genuine interest in food (cooking or baking) will set you apart from other candidates.Experience or interest in photography of food and related subjects is beneficial but not required.

This position is a regular full-time position located in our Corporate Headquarters in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota.
