Senior Program Manager - Inbound Flow and Ordering Strategy - HYBRID

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to join the Inbound Flow and Ordering Strategy team within the Ordering organization. This team member will be a strategic partner and thought leader helping to shape and execute a dynamic portfolio of initiatives that are unlocking the future of ordering at Nordstrom. This role is critical to our delivery of improved flow driving increased predictability and balance to

meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.

A day in the life…

Bring Ordering strategies to life: Support success of cross-functional initiatives by ensuring appropriate scoping and resourcing, anticipating risks and dependencies, and easing the path to organizational adoption. Lean on past experience and keen judgement to develop a point of view on the best path forward and work with senior leadership to put it into action Collaborate with senior leaders: Collaborate with senior leadership (including VPs, SVPs, EVP, and C-Suite Executives) across Merchandising and Operations to maintain a focus on top business objectives and initiatives as well as to escalate key status updates and decision points Partner across functions: Work with cross-functional execution partners (e.g., Merchandising, Product Management, Technology, Data Science, Process, Change Management, Supply Chain, etc.) to ensure alignment on delivery priorities Stand up key initiatives: Deep dive with business owners and subject matter experts to understand the opportunities that specific initiatives are addressing. Generate consensus around recommended approach, tools, and resourcing. Build excitement and momentum across stakeholders and leaders Content Development: Create compelling materials to effectively communicate and drive decision making across a range of audiences, including executive leadership Analysis & Insights: Gather, interpret, and analyze data to inform decision making. Help establish KPIs and indicators to measure success of initiatives. Guide progress: Ensure milestones are being met.  Where there are gaps, effectively highlight concerns, impact, and potential solutions to program and cross-functional leadership (e.g., timing, resources, budget, value realization) Identify and manage issue escalation and resolution: Identify and maintain visibility to potential issues and risks across the Ordering portfolio as well as size and prioritize efforts to drive resolution. Manage collaboration and build consensus around potential mitigations

You own this if you have...

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience, MBA preferred 5+ years’ experience in program management, project management, or merchandising operations 5+ years of experience working with senior-level leaders Strong retail acumen including background in merchandising, planning, inventory/supply chain or retail strategy functions with curiosity to learn, influence and apply strategic thinking, analytical and project/program management skills across new capabilities and functions Highly capable of navigating through ambiguity, thinking big picture, and driving enterprise impact Ability to collect data, establish facts, draw sound and actionable conclusions, and communicate these to broad audiences Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to flex your message to different audiences and influence others Experience executing tools and strategies to support all phases of project/program management including business case development, milestone planning, status tracking and leadership alignment. Strong proficiency in Excel and story telling through PowerPoint

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $103,500 - $175,000 Annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
