North Alabama SC (NASC) is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides recreational and competitive club youth soccer programs for boys and girls in the North Alabama including Huntsville, Madison, Athens, Decatur, Hampton Cove, Owens Crossroads, and greater Madison County.
Our Club continues to grow with the North Alabama soccer community. North Alabama SC strives to serve all players and all skill levels by offering developmental, recreational, competitive, school-based, premier, and pre-professional soccer opportunities.
North Alabama SC is more than just a soccer club. It is a collection of parents, coaches, administration, alumni, and volunteers that work together to grow the game and strengthen our soccer community by helping to develop not only the next generation of players, but the next generation of leaders for our community.
Role DescriptionThe Youth Academy Director will be responsible for managing all aspects of the North Alabama SC(NASC) Youth Academy Program, including player development, team management, and overall program administration. This is a full-time on-site role located in Huntsville, Alabama.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of coaching experience, with a demonstrated track record of successExperience in player development and mentorshipStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentKnowledge of youth soccer and the US Club Soccer systemUSSF C or higher coaching license or equivalentExperience managing soccer programs and staff membersDedication to the development of young soccer players both on and off the field
