Maintenance Technician
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair the physical infrastructure of our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance and repair duties to ensure the proper operation and safety of our buildings and grounds.
Position Information: Part-Time, Schedule: Tue-Thu = 10:30a - 6:30p, Fri - Sat = 5:00a - 2:00p, 18.00 hourly rate. Key Responsibilities for a Maintenance Technician :Receive and complete work orders for maintenance and repairsInspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems and equipmentPerform general upkeep tasks such as painting, light fixture replacement, faucet/hardware repairs, and other miscellaneous fixesIdentify and address potential safety hazards in the parking lot, sidewalks, and pathwaysConduct scheduled preventative maintenance according to manufacturer specificationsMonitor and adjust systems on a daily basis to maintain optimal performanceUtilize snow removal equipment and supplies to keep walkways clear during inclement weatherReplace worn or damaged parts in machines and equipment as neededCommunicate supply needs and job status to supervisors in a timely mannerProvide assistance to other departments with moving furniture and handling deliveriesQualifications for a Maintenance Technician:1-3 years of experience in a maintenance or building operations roleKnowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systemsAbility to read and follow verbal/written instructions, work under pressure, and multitaskStrong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skillsWillingness to work varied shifts, including on-call hours for urgent mattersProfessional appearance and friendly, customer-service oriented attitude
