The Cardiovascular RN provides high quality patient care to the cardiac patient in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. The Cardiovascular RN acts as a nursing resource as it relates to the Cath Lab ARU, and performs the following nursing functions: Preps patients for cardiac cath procedures and recovers and monitors patients post procedure. Responsible for pulling sheath after cardiac cath.
NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS
Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and have an active Georgia Registered Nurse license.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
ACLS certification strongly preferred.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification must be obtained within twelve (12) months of hire date into position.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience involving the treatment of cardiac or critical care patients.
Thorough knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation
