About the role...We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning Product Manager who has a proven track record with creating technology solutions in the financial reporting space and is passionate about building products and solutions.You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out a financial planning product.

What you’ll do for us… Gain a deep understanding of customer experience (live clients and ongoing projects), identify and fill product gapsGenerate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growthCreate buy-in, document and drive product vision both internally and with external partners (Clients, Prospects, Implementation Partners)Develop product pricing, positioning strategies and Go to MarketTranslate product strategy into detailed requirements, number exercises, paper models and prototypesScope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impactWork closely with product, delivery and sales teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resourcesDrive product releases including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team membersEvaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyedAct as a product evangelist to build awareness and understandingRepresent the company by engaging with customers to solicit feedback on financial planning products and services

What you will bring...Experience: 8+ years of experience in Financial Planning Product Management with a Bachelor’s Degree, Master's preferred, in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance / Accounting or equivalent.Skills: Proven track record with developing financial planning solutions or productsProven work experience in financial planning product managementProven track record of managing all aspects of a successful technology product throughout its lifecycleProven ability to develop financial planning product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive managementSolid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies (SaaS/PaaS)Deep understanding of financial planning market landscape and players.Proven experience implementing financial planning solutions Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job doneIn-depth knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, mid-term and long-range planning processesProven track record with Financial Management report pack buildingExpert knowledge of Income statements, Profit and loss reportingProven track record with constructing and presenting Balance Sheet statements and cash flow statements.In-depth understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting standards (IFRS, IAS)In-depth knowledge of profitability KPI and metricsExpert understanding of intercompany & intracompany sales elimination conceptsProven track record with implementing industry best practice financial management and reporting processesProven track record providing Finance Executives and Senior FP&A professionals with financial planning process improvement advisory.In-depth knowledge of Activity Based CostingIn-depth knowledge of working capital, capital expenditure reporting Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organizationExcellent written and verbal communication skills

This position at o9 Solutions has an annual salary range of $144,000.00- $199,000.00. Additionally, you may be eligible to participate in our medical, retirement, and other company-sponsored benefits.*The above information reflects the expected base salary range, although the lower and upper bounds may vary based on location, skills, experience, certifications, licenses, or other relevant factors
