As a Platform Engineer, you will have an impactful contribution in the delivery of a new kind of platform for healthcare, one built specifically for the clinical team. From design to implementation, you will partner with our stellar engineering, product, and design teams in a fast-paced, agile environment to transform ideas into a reality. Utilizing modern methodologies and open source tools, you will be empowered to push the boundaries of development as we seek to deliver applications that will directly and immediately impact the experience of our teams and our patients.

Core Responsibilities
Contribute to all aspects of the deployment and maintenance of the infrastructure of the Canopy platform ecosystem at internet scaleExperience with cloud native, enterprise scale environments, we use AzureTroubleshoot issues in our infrastructure stack including Kafka, K8s, GitOps, MongoDB, SQL Server, etcBuild out environments and keep them running Staying up to date with vulnerabilities and outagesProvide technical expertise to all cloud systems, deployments, upgrades and initiatives to other teamsCollaborate with cross functional teams to understand business needs in the face of infrastructure continuous improvementConsider the product development team your users and the organizationâs success your goalInsightful and curious about trends and solutions in enterprise infrastructure and cloud computingKnowledgeable of networking conceptsExperience with CI/CDOther duties as assigned
Weâre looking for a motivated Sr. Platform Engineer I with:
Bachelor's degree in CS or closely related discipline / industry experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering2+ yearsâ experience building consumer-facing products with large distributed systems deployed in cloud5 years of software development experience on SAAS, e-commerce or other high scale, high availability software projects - must be able to write code in multiple languagesProven success delivering infrastructure in the cloudExperience building resilient, scalable and secure shared infrastructureExperience interfacing with databasesExperience in building a distributed, event-driven, cloud native environment either in Azure/AWS using Docker/Kubernetes preferredprofessional certifications favorableInfrastructure as Code and automation are your first approaches to solving platform issuesExperience with Event Sourcing preferredExperience with using Protobuf and gRPC preferredExcellent communication and collaboration skills are requiredUS work authorizationSomeone who embodies being Oaky
