📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
What You’ll DoOversee the implementation of the Juvenile Justice Community Planning Process grant, including working with the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative and other court services. Interact frequently with juvenile justice staff and other youth serving community partners.Engage the entire community in a planning process that strengthens public safety, reduces violent crime among youth, advances equitable juvenile justice reforms, increases positive youth outcomes, and reduces juvenile delinquency, truancy, drug abuse, victimization, and other problem and high-risk behaviors. Primary duties: Convene a group of stakeholders for the planning processDevelop and conduct a planning processIntegrate and sustain meaningful youth and family partnerships within the projectDeliver a comprehensive community planProvide leadership throughout the life of the project
We are Looking for the Following Persons:Bachelor's degree in a social services or human services related field requiredMaster's preferredThose willing to set a flexible schedule that includes some evening hoursThose who love working in a supportive team environmentThose with interest in systems work to improve outcomes for our youth
