Join us and be part of a team pushing the boundaries of retail technology.</p> <p><strong>About the Role&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>As an Engineering Maintenance Technician, you will play an imperative part in supporting the pre-planned and reactive maintenance within our state-of-the-art automated fulfilment centre in Erith.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you will be doing&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>carry out maintenance on production equipment in an accurate, timely and safe manner.&nbsp;</li> <li>Diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolving issues and action repairs where possible.</li> <li>Update engineering records, including all work carried out,&nbsp; as well as supporting the identification of root cause of failures. Confirmation of spares and consumables will be part of your role along&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensuring the Computerised Maintenance Management System is updated with accurate data to meet Engineering KPIs.&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate with the Engineering team to analyse engineering failures and find solutions to improve Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) performance.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>You will work on a days based shift pattern to support our operation and should be comfortable working at height</p> <p><strong>About you</strong></p> <ul> <li>A formal engineering related qualification would be advantageous</li> <li>You will have a basic technical understanding relating to automation hardware and software would be beneficial.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrable analytical skills with sound problem solving ability</li> <li>Good communication and interpersonal skills, along with good organisation skills and ability to prioritise are essential</li> <li>Working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, conveyors would be advantageous&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer you</strong></p> <p>Our employee benefits are designed for you, we care about people and we’ve ensured we have a wealth of benefits that focus on your well-being.
