Job Description
The Process Reliability Technician is responsible for machinery condition monitoring, and machine health data collection.
Must complete and pass all applicable induction and safety testsAbility to operate power tools and equipmentMust have a good understanding of mechanical equipment.Must be able to climb steps and ladders and work at heights as requiredAble to handle hazardous materials.Must be able to work in a team environment or aloneAble to follow directions and to complete quality workMust be able to learn how to operate mobile equipment including: forklift, scissor lift, man lift and telehandlerSelf-motivatedMust be able to complete tasks in a timely manner with little supervisionMust be able to operate all workshop equipmentWorking knowledge of basic computer systems (i.e. Microsoft Office products)Basic mechanical Skills.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of industrial or mining mechanical experience desirable. Experience with Industrial Lubrication or material handling desirable Experience with Oil sampling programs desirable.Vibration data collection desirableThermal camera use desirable.

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workday.Occasionally may be required to work early morning or evening hours to meet global organizational needs.Work is in a surface mine plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity.Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine environment, including hart hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.
