Job Duties And Responsibilities
Troubleshoots, repairs, and services aircraft and engine systems. May fuel and groom aircraft. Must know how to operate and interpret test equipment and understand wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
Qualifications
Requires completion of apprenticeship program, A & P license, and may have attended aircraft manufacturer's approved training school.
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Senior Aircraft Mechanic.
