Omega Health is urgently seeking a Professional Fee coder with strong experience in diagnostic imagining coding to join one of our long standing teams. Role Outline:Position TitleDiagnostic Imaging Profee CoderEst. Access Time2-3 WeeksSchedule ExpectationsMon-Friday. Will need to work 32 hours on holiday weeks, however the coder can flex their hours to take off additional days so long as the hours are achieved. Actual holidays all coders are off and are paid. During holiday weeks hours can be obtained during the weekend if needed.Required Years of Experience2Productivity Expectations36-40 cph (will be mostly dx coding and just verifying CPT codes the system picks up)Screening QuestionsHave you performed diagnostic profee coding to include CTs, MRIs, Ultrasounds, Mammos and biopsies, xrays, including the CPT coding of those?
Have you used EPIC before ?Misc. Facility NotesCandidates should have experience in diagnostic Profee coding and be able to code CTs, MRIs, Ultrasounds, Mammos, biopsies, and xrays This includes knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, LCD/NCD and CCI experience. They should have an understanding of how to apply modifiers correctly, global packages, and have teaching hospital experience. Experience in abstracting documentation to apply to proper diagnosis codes. The ability to utilize their resources for coding purposes.
- Experience oncology coding• Experience coding different modalities for example (CT, Ultrasounds, MRI, X-rays, etc.)• Experience and knowledge utilizing modifiers.• Experience satisfying NCD/LCD and NCCI encounters.• Experience working in Epic and 3M 360.• 3M CodeAssist/CodeRyte experience is a plus but not mandatory.
