Essential Duties And Responsibilities

IOSA/ATOS compliance for Flight OperationsEFB Program Development/MaintenanceAircraft Performance/Weight & Balance: Development and support of aircraft performance data, including takeoff, enroute, and landing in accordance with Omni Air policies and regulatory requirementsRevise and integrate performance data into documents for Omni Air fleetsImplement takeoff, climb, and landing performance programs for data development, procedure planning, and evaluationMaintain data, logic and functionality of both the Weight and Balance Manual and aircraft performance computer in coordination with Maintenance Technical Services and EngineeringMaintain, revise, and improve aircraft performance/weight and balance computer programs and databases in accordance with Omni policiesCoordinate with vendors as required for technical data necessary for performance data developmentProvide support on purchase of new equipment as it relates to performanceProvide aircraft technical support to include coordination of applicable Flight Crew Operations Manual, Quick Reference Handbook, and Electronic Checklist changes with aircraft vendorsNavigation Data VerificationMEL/CDL revision and supportCoordinate with manufacturers and vendors as required for technical data necessary for program developmentRepresent Omni Air International at appropriate industry forumsMaintain flight currency and proficiency as an Omni Management PilotProvide technical flight expertise and support for all aircraft fleetsAssist the Chief Pilot in the selection of flight crew members to perform Functional Check Flight (FCF) dutiesManage Functional Check Flight (FCF) program and provide recurrent ground and simulator training for flight crew members performing Functional Check Flight dutiesProvide Flight Operations technical expertise and support for aircraft during heavy maintenance checks and to other departments as required

Qualifications

Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Excel and WordMust be able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility for clear expression in writingGood presentation and interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the CompanyPossess good organizational abilityCapability to work independently (at times under pressure)Good analytical skillsAbility to exhibit leadership and authoritative approach and be worthy of commanding respect among peers and management officialsMust be able to hold DoD clearanceMust hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a type rating in at least one of the aircraft Omni operatesMinimum 2,000 hours Total Time with 1,000 hours Pilot-in-CommandExcellent communication skills and quick and accurate decision makingClose attention to detailMust be able to speak, write, and read fluent EnglishMust be able to secure appropriate airport authority and security badgesMust have right to work in the United StatesMust have a valid passport, and ability to travel internationally to all countries Omni requiresMust be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen

Education And Experience

Bachelor of Science or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5 years Pilot in Command experience in Large Transport Category AircraftInternational Flight Operations experience

Physical Requirements

Must be able to obtain First Class Medical CertificateRequires travelLift up to 60 lbs
