Entry-Level Quality Engineer

Our client, established in 1984, specializes in meeting customer needs with a continually evolving product line of generator-related products. They are looking to hire a Quality Engineer to join their team in the Tulsa! Job Description: The Quality Engineer leads the development and implementation of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) leading to the organization’s eventual certification to ISO 9001-2015.

Candidates must be local to the Tulsa area to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:Creating short- and long-term project plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to as well as holding others to those deadlines.Assisting with the development of company policies, processes and procedures related to Quality and Production.Conducting or assisting with regulatory and quality training sessions.Assisting with document control initiated by Quality Control to ensure unit readiness with the Customer.Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.Serving as a point of contact for all teams to ensure team actions are coordinated and remain in synergy.Communicating with leadership on status and potential obstacles while keeping the project aligned with organizational strategy and goals.Assisting in the development of improved Quality Control processes including, but not limited to, documentation uploading and picture packages.Maintaining Key Performance Indicators and preparing for communication to Customers and senior management.Perform internal audits and assist with regulatory and customer audits.Providing departments with quality planning and support.
