Cyber Security Analyst

In this position you are a key member of the Security Operations Center (SOC) managed services team, providing guidance and solutions directly to ON2IT customers and team mates. Unlike most SOC or MDR vendors, ON2IT's focus is on prevention therefore maintaining proper technical policy of security equipment like firewalls, endpoint protection and cloud environments will be an important part of your job.

Your responsibilities include:Maintaining proper technical policy of security equipment like firewalls, endpoint protection and cloud environments.Identifying, investigating and managing security events or incidents, and automate responses by codifying these in our ON2IT Eventflowtm system.Solving all kinds of technical problems customers may experience and implementing (best-practice) solutions directly with clients.Providing Zero Trust strategy guidance to customers.Analyzing logs and data to provide intelligence for actions and countermeasures related to cyber defense.Participation in custom tailored projects suited to each customer's need.

Your qualifications are:Security/IT degree, industry certifications, or equivalent experience.to five years in the IT Security industry as a SOC analyst and / or as an administrator of next generation firewalls and/or advanced endpoint protection solutions.and training in the following areas: CCNA, Palo Alto certifications, CompTIA Security, AWS, Google Cloud, LFCA, Microsoft and Fortinet.

Your essential skills set contain:Collaborative behaviors to work effectively with clients and team.Application of cybersecurity concepts in the troubleshooting process.Demonstrable, comprehensive knowledge of troubleshooting in networks, Next Generation Firewalls, advanced endpoint protection and advanced threat analysis.Root cause analysis from logs and supplementary data.Clear understanding of business compromise concepts, threats and countermeasures.Capable of inquisitive research into cybersecurity concepts such as threats, vulnerabilities, exploits, and their solutions.
