Technical Business Analyst

Technical BAHybrid work in the downtown Dallas, TX area.Any VISA OK – W2 / 1099Contract for 6+ months

We are looking for a business analyst to join our team. Main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing user acceptance testing. To succeed in this role you should have an analytical way of thinking and be able to explain and translate business flows into technical specifications and act as an effective liaison between our business community and engineering staff. Mush Have:3+ years of Business Analysis experience coordinating platform/server infrastructure related areas.2+ years of Business Analysis experience coordinating network infrastructure related areas.3+ years of Business Analysis experience coordinating application development related areas.2+ years of documenting Solution’s Architecture experience2+ years of Business Analysis experience coordinating Data Base related areas3+ years coordinating application development life cycle.Agile Certification and/or 2+ years of having worked in an agile environmentGood Communication skillsSelf-MotivatedCapable of presenting to all levels of audiencesWorks well in a team environmentWorking experience with Data Virtualization a plusAbility to interact effectively with diverse cross-functional groups, including Quality, Configuration Management, Data Management, IT operations, and Project Management.§ Evaluate business processes, lead requirements gathering, uncovering areas for improvement, and create epics and stories for teams to implement.§ Lead ongoing reviews of business requirements and facilitate design and implementation strategies.§ Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.§ Performing requirements analysis.§ Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.§ Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.§ Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.§ Working closely with business teams, act as a liaison to technical engineers and managers.§ Allocate resources and maintain cost efficiency.§ Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.§ Perform user acceptance testing. Nice to Have:Prior software experience with build management, configuration management and/or quality testing.Experience with SCM practices including Agile, continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD).Experience building and deploying with Angular, Node JS, Java and .NET/Microsoft technologies.Expertise in LINUX, UNIX, knowledge of hardware, command line tools and application programming interfaces (APIs).Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a high-profile environment. Education:A BS/BA in a technical Engineering area or equivalent work experience with good scripting/programming skills. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES· Manage projects, develop plans, and monitor performance. Manage competing resources and priorities.· Update, implement and maintain procedures.· Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.· Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.· Ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities in line with client needs and architectural requirements.· Adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes· Produce reliable, well-tested, high-quality code· Document and communicate software process flows· Stay current on technology and domain trends, frameworks and cutting-edge technology General§ Provide maintenance to production workflows by ensuring second level support for workflow incidents; investigate reported errors, agree on error severity and propose resolution§ For workflow support tasks, respect SLAs agreed with business for workflow downtime§ Report issues to third level support (vendor) if incidents cannot be solved by the internal team; ensure development fix, unit testing, and production deployment preparation§ Provide technical expertise through a hands-on approach to teams and projects. § Handle design, definition, planning and development § 100% adherence to architectural and development best practices including the use of standard architectures, proper use of code management, document design and design artifacts and conduct design/code reviews.
