Job Summary
Primary Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain the functionality and efficiency of network infrastructure. Implement and support network solutions for data centers and other networked environments. Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations. Troubleshoot network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization. Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and by defining and monitoring access. Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
Qualifications
Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent working experience. At least 3-5 years of proven experience in supporting an Enterprise Network Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS). Solid hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools. Experience with firewalls, DMVPN remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. Familiarity with SCADA and Operational Technology (OT) systems is highly desirable, as knowledge in these areas will be advantageous in our operational environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and provide a high level of service. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
This position is eligible for remote work in one of the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. This position will require some travel for office meetings, as needed, to our corporate office in Tulsa, OK.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Manage problems which escalate beyond the status of incident. Coordinate the appropriate personnel to troubleshoot and resolve the problemPerform root cause analysis on resolved problems. Design and develop appropriate monitoring or other proactive measures to prevent future occurrencesMentor Tier II staff during problem resolution and root case analysis to increase efficiency and knowledge of Tier II personnelAnalyze and document the architecture and configuration of application infrastructureProvide configuration and engineering for new technologiesLead the support and configuration activities for technologies where you have been designated a subject matter expertComplete tasks assigned in order to accomplish approved application and/or infrastructure change controlsCollaborate with other IT personnel on technology and support issuesConsult with applications and infrastructure personnel on new initiatives and the impacts they will have on infrastructure
Education
Bachelor's Degree in computer sciences or an equivalent combination of formal education and job-related experience
