We’re looking to hire a Freelance Principal Software Engineer for a leading healthcare organization.
This is a 12 month W2 contract.The role can be worked remotely EST hours.Only accepting candidates within the USA.Hourly Pay: $75 - $80 hourly
Responsibilities:Lead digital engineering team, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to best practices.Evaluate emerging technologies for innovation in digital health.Develop complex features, optimize performance, and maintain code quality.Resolve technical challenges and provide recommendations aligned with business goals.Guide technology selection and integration, focusing on scalability and security.Troubleshoot issues and mentor junior engineers for professional growth.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect robust solutions.
Qualifications:7+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in leadership.Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST API, and agile methodologies.Strong background in Microservices, Web services, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).Experience with CI/CD, KAFKA DB, NoSQL DB, and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS) mandatory. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and GraphQL mandatory.
Education:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
