Analytics Data Engineer - Snowflake, SnowSQL, DatabricksHybrid to ATL, GA - 3X per week onsite in Alpharetta, GAW2 or 1099 - USC or GC Holders
Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer with expertise in SnowSQL, AWS, and Databricks, and a deep understanding of complex analytics on the Snowflake database platform. As a pivotal member of the data team, you will lead the design and implementation of sophisticated SQL-based analytical solutions, leveraging cloud technologies to drive actionable insights and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:Advanced SQL Development: Lead the design and development of complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to perform advanced analytics, including cohort analysis, time series forecasting, and trend analysis, within Snowflake.Cloud Platform Integration: Leverage AWS services such as S3, Glue, and Lambda to build scalable data pipelines and integrate data from various sources into Snowflake, ensuring data consistency and reliability.Databricks Implementation: Utilize Databricks for advanced data processing, machine learning, and big data analytics, integrating with Snowflake for seamless data access and analysis.Data Modeling and Optimization: Design and optimize database schemas, table structures, and indexing strategies in Snowflake to support efficient data retrieval and analysis, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.Performance Tuning and Query Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SQL queries and database operations using Snowflake's performance monitoring tools, AWS services, and Databricks optimizations.
