Senior System Engineer (POS) / Atlanta Georgia / Hybrid
Optomi in partnership with a national leader in the consumer retail space is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team and transition into a POS-focused Systems Engineer.
We are looking for individuals who have experience designing and engineering patches for enterprise Windows environments; we understand that Point-of-Sales Systems are a niche subsection of System Engineering. We are fully prepared to train strong systems professionals in this space as experience with Intune/Kayesa RMM and major Windows deployments will translate well.

Qualification of the Right Candidate:7-10 years of progressive IT experience would be ideal for this position, we are looking for a strong mid-level systems engineer and training them for a more senior role as the position evolves.Extensive enterprise experience with RMM (Remote Management & Monitoring) tools such as Intune, Kaseya, and BigFix.Engineering level of Python OR PowerShell scripting experience, we need individuals capable of writing new scripts from scratch to support mass patching efforts, modifying templates will not be sufficient for this position as a master base has not been established for this project.Experience troubleshooting tier 3/4 systems issues, serving as a final escalation point for systems tickets, and capable of troubleshooting complex high visibility projects.
Experience that is Nice To Have:Any retail or dining experience with POS systems, and any technical POS troubleshooting is highly sought after!
