MySQL Account Executive

Job Description

About The Role

Your responsibilities will include capturing new customers, delivering growth and ensuring retention from the existing customer base. The ideal candidate will possess a sales background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers, product managers, and IT architects.

This is a hybrid position based in either Redwood City, CA or Austin, TX. Working in the office 3 days/ week is required.

What You Will Do

Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals and objectives. Prospect, qualify, develop and manage a robust pipeline of forecasted opportunities.Develop and execute against a account/territory plan to meet and exceed quotaCollaborate and work with various cross-functional teams to manage the sales cycleDrive account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with partners

Preferred Qualifications

4-6+ years of direct field experience selling software or IT solutions. Familiarity with databases, DevOps and open source technology a plus.BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.A track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement.

US: Hiring Range: from $29.76 - $48.37 per hour; from $61,900 - $100,600 per year. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50 / 50.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
