Job Title: Commissioning Engineer Job Description: Our client is currently in search of a Commissioning Engineer with experience in data centers and renewables to join their team. This opportunity is open to local applicants or those willing to relocate to the Northern Nevada - Reno area, with the option for travel as needed. Key Responsibilities: Conduct commissioning activities for datacenter construction projects, ensuring the successful installation, inspection, and testing of MEP systems.Collaborate closely with project teams to verify compliance with clean energy design specifications and industry standards.Perform QA/QC inspections to maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process.Support equipment testing and startup activities, troubleshooting issues as they arise.Prepare detailed commissioning documentation and reports for project managers.Conduct thorough assessments of clean energy systems to ensure seamless integration and performance within datacenter environments. Requirements: 3-5 years of commissioning experience, preferably within the datacenter construction sector.Strong background in MEP systems and QA/QC processes.Willingness to travel for project assignments, with the ability to commit to a 6-month to 2-year contract.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines.Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and travel schedules.Experience integrating clean energy solutions into datacenter construction projects, overseeing the implementation of renewable energy sources such as solar power is a plus
