The Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Foreman to join our team. The Foreman is responsible for supervising and leading a team of workers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing project timelines. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company.

Openings are available anywhere in the continental US. You will spend your first week in Youngstown, Ohio and will be traveling 85% of the time.

Responsibilities

Perform general construction tasks with a focus on concrete and electrical workOversee three-to-four-man crewSafely operate and maneuver equipment trailersRead and understand blueprints and sketches and build to specification instructions with precision and qualityEnsure job is coordinated from start to finish to maximize efficiency and safetyProvide detailed and accurate reporting of daily duties performed. Preform restoration of areas where work has been performed (leveling, seed, and straw)Ensure manpower and resources are adequateCoordinate with other companies for heavy equipment and other essential supplies and working with other departments or agencies to ensure project completionMaintain a clean and safe jobsiteResponsible for work outcomes that are assignedOther duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills

Must be willing to travel nationwide up to 85% of the time3 years’ experience as a construction foremanAble read/understand blueprints Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving recordPossess basic computer skills including word, excel & emailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExceptional critical thinking skillsMust be able to work in a variety of physical positions, like sitting, squatting, standing, walking, and drivingMust endure regular exposure to all weather conditions, including hot, cold, humid and rainy during all seasons throughout the yearMay be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects being managed or coordinatedMust wear common protective safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats and high visible vest when working on-site
