Location: Various Rec Centers throughout Fort Worth, TXPosition Type: Part-time
Hours: 2-12 hours/classes per week, midday, weekday between the hours of 10A - 2P

Job Description:P.E. University is seeking a dynamic and passionate Youth Fitness Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education, experience working with children and youth, and a commitment to promoting fitness and wellness. However, Group Fitness Instructors are highly encouraged to apply as well, as we do offer physical education training.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate fitness classes for children and youth.• Lead group fitness sessions, including warm-ups, exercises, and cool-downs, focusing on strength, flexibility, coordination, and cardiovascular fitness.• Provide personalized instruction and feedback to participants to ensure proper form and technique.• Incorporate games, activities, and challenges to make fitness fun and enjoyable for all participants.• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and promotes positive social interactions.• Maintain a safe and clean workout space, ensuring equipment is used correctly and safely.• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding class schedules, progress, and any relevant updates or information.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children and youth in a fitness or physical education setting, is highly preferred but not required.• Knowledge of basic exercise principles, fitness techniques, and proper form.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants.• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).• Passion for promoting health, fitness, and wellness among young individuals.• Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to delivering high-quality instruction.
Schedule:This is a part-time position with hours ranging between 2-12 hours/classes per week. Class times may vary between the hours of 10A - 2P on weekdays. No weekends!
