PACCAR WINCH Inc is a wholly owned subsidiary of PACCAR. PACCAR Winch Inc manufactures high quality industrial winches, hoists, and drives for the oil/gas, construction, utility and specialty markets. We have locations in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Our business is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer. This position is an on-site office position located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

PACCAR Winch is seeking to fill a Senior Buyer position. This position reports directly to the Purchasing Manager and is responsible for purchasing assigned commodities, based on requirements and exercising independent judgment. Position will be responsible for supplier management, supplier development and other project management as assigned.

Duties Include

Reviews supplier pricing, quality and delivery to determine selection of suppliersCoordinates cross functional teams as necessary for project completionPerforms order follow-up for timely delivery in support of scheduleMonitors supplier performance using Quality, Cost and Delivery metricsOrganizes and leads improvement projects, and resourcing efforts utilizing 6-Sigma tools or other problem solving toolsCommunicate and conduct supplier business reviews with plant and division personnel at all management levelsOther duties as assigned Qualifications & SkillsRelated four-year degree is preferred, with 2-7 years of closely related experience in purchasing, Business, Economics, Engineering, or appropriate technical field. LEAN Six Sigma Certification desiredExcellent written, and oral communication skills, software proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPointTeam player, self-motivated and able to work with limited supervisionSuperior analytical, and detailed data analysis skillsFlexable, adaptable, and able to navigate changes quicklyAbility to professionally handle stressful situationsAbility to effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently with changing priorities

Technical Skills

Proficient software skills including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
