Our client is a leading provider of complex machined components to a variety of clients across the industrials space.
As the site produces highly technical components, it is crucial that the right level of expertise is present. They require a person dedicated to maintaining their technology and business leadership who will ensure superior quality products, reliability, on-time deliveries, and support a culture of continuous improvement.
With this, they have retained Pacific to find an Engineering Manager. The Engineering Manager will oversee manufacturing and engineering operations involved in producing precision machined components. This role entails managing all engineering activities to optimize manpower and equipment utilization, oversee tooling management, control costs, ensure adherence to production schedules, maintain product quality, foster positive employee relations, and uphold safety and environmental standards.
Experience And Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing)At least 3 years of management experience supervising Engineers and ProgrammersExperience in the fabrication of precision metal components utilizing manual machines, vertical mills, horizontal machine centers, lathes, and autonomous multi-pallet machine centersWorking knowledge of processing operations, ergonomics, and lean manufacturing principlesStrong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities
