We’re actively seeking a talented Internal Wholesaler to join our Life Insurance internal sales team in Newport Beach, CA. This role is hybrid, with at least 2 days per week in the office. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.

As a Life Insurance Internal Wholesaler, you’ll be in a sales support role and play a key part in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by helping to drive sales results in partnership with an external wholesaler. You will be responsible for developing marketing campaigns, driving sales results through Financial Advisor meeting follow-ups, and moving the sales process through proactive activity. You will be an extension of your external wholesaler through messaging, sales follow-up cadence, and marketing campaigns with Financial Advisors. You will also be responsible for creating and hosting webinars to provide education and uncover new opportunities.

How You'll Help Move Us Forward

The Internal Wholesaler partners with the External Wholesaler to meet or exceed territory goals Proactively markets life insurance products to existing and potential Producers/Financial Advisors, leads follow-up activities, relationship building, and building and driving own sales plans Uses understanding of sales initiatives, business plans, product features, and sales stories to support the overall efforts of the External Wholesaler across the Life Insurance Channel to develop and grow the marketManages and develops own “farm team” of potential Producers to increase overall productionCoordinates activities for marketing campaigns, seminars, and special marketing-related projectsRuns life insurance illustrations

The Experience You Bring

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Financial Services environment, preferably in Life InsuranceStrong Life Insurance product knowledgePrevious Financial sales/marketing experienceStrong verbal communication skills to educate and influence salesStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

FINRA Series 6 and 63 license required, or must obtain within 90 days of FINRA registrationLife Insurance License is required, or must be obtained within 90 days of hireLOMA DesignationCollege degree preferredLife Insurance Internal Wholesaling or Case Design background

Compensation

The base pay range is between $65,000- $70,000. In addition, this role is eligible for incentives based on production. The total target annualized compensation (base plus incentives) is $85,000-$91,000.

Base Pay Range

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
