📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Primary FunctionTo develop project opportunities for Pacific Rim Mechanical's Service Group by working with existing clients and by building new relationships.
Typical DutiesPrimary focus on owner-direct repairs, replacements, retrofits, and tenant improvements.Identifying and developing business opportunities with new and existing customers by utilizing your product knowledge & applications experience in the HVAC marketSuccessfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutionsCreate and deliver presentations that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value propositionObtain, assemble, and organize all project documentation to turnover to operations
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience-Proven work experience as a Sales EngineerProven track record selling complex solutionsAbility to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executivesAbility to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand mannerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent presentation and creativity skillsThis position requires a strong technical or mechanical background along with the ability to learn engineering conceptsHunter mindset with a drive for sales and a passion for meeting customersBachelor's degree (Engineering, Business, or other technical disciplines) and or two year related trade school.5+ years of working and demonstrable knowledge of Commercial HVAC systems1+ years of experience providing direct management/leadership experience involving reps, consulting engineers, and contractors, with a thorough understanding of the commercial sales processKnowledge of control systems and DDC
Salary Range$60,000 - $80,000 + Commission (FSLA Exempt)Total earnings can surpass $200,000, depending on performance and commission.
