The 2024 Summer Internship Program is a 10 week opportunity beginning June 11 - August 16, 2024. Kid’s BuyingLearn the merchandising/buying process from beginning to endEnter PO’s and assist with other projects related to buyingAttend Meetings with Product Development, Design or Branded PartnersSample managementOwn trend and competitive marketplace analysis Requirements:Currently enrolled college students and/or recent graduates - degree in Fashion Merchandising preferredMust be available to work full time schedulePassion for fashion, retail experience, and process improvementComputer skills: Need to be proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPointEager to learn about buying and soak in and apply a lot of informationKnowledge of current trendsEngaging personality with exceptional communication and presentation skillsAbility to work as a team memberAbility to think outside the box, problem solverQuickly able to learn new business system practicesStrong time management and multi-tasking skillsExcellent Verbal and written communication skillsRetail experience preferred This program will challenge your ability to not only think critically and creatively, but also work as a team to strategize and implement solutions. Over the course of this internship, you will be presented with insight into your career path with exposure to the long- term strategies and day-to-day tasks required in your selected department.
