📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
I am inquiring talented candidates who would be interested in an unpaid research internship.
The interns will shoulder significant responsibilities as Research Assistants, including:
- Identifying eligible research participants using the Veterans Affairs medical record system
- Managing patient screening, recruitment, consent processes, and all follow-up visits throughout the study's duration
- Ensuring meticulous adherence to study protocols and standardized procedures
- Collaborating closely with Primary Study Coordinators and Lead Investigators
- Potentially overseeing the patient payment system for participant compensation
- Data entry
- Attending monthy meetings
To be eligible
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Commit to a minimum of 16 hours per week .
