📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Dialysis Registered Nurse
Do you enjoy being a Dialysis Nurse, but looking for something different? Heritage Valley has the latest Tablo equipment and we are glad to care for patients who are suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure in-house.
The Dialysis RNs are responsible for overseeing dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.
To fill this role, you’ll need:
RN License in the stateCurrent BLS certificationCurrent ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment. Let us help you get your ACLS! **ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Ops, and ICU.Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) is preferred but not required.Prior dialysis experience is required! (* minimum of three months inpatient hospital dialysis experience required)
