📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Title: FED Security Officer (Armed) Candidates with current BSIS Guard Card and Firearms Permit with .40caliber designation
Training Wage $26.00 per hour
Base Wages following training period is $26.78 - $33.83 per hour and $4.60-$4.78 per hour Health & Welfare (depending on job location and up to 40 hours per week)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Ideal candidates have at least two (2) years Armed OR Law Enforcement OR Military experience
Must Possess a BSIS Guard Card and Firearms Permit with .40caliber designation
High School Diploma
US Citizen
As a Paragon Security Officer (PSO) you will observe and report activities and incidents while assigned to the DHS Federal Protective Service. This includes providing for the security and safety of federally owned / leased facilities, federal property and personnel.
Additionally, primary responsibilities include precluding unauthorized access to facilities, responding to unusual or emergency situations, using appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response as dictated by the situation and protocol, making periodic tours to check for irregularities and inspecting protection devices and fire control equipment. Lastly, duties also include preserving order and acting to enforce regulations / directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises
- Additional compensation of $1.00 - $3.00 may be available at sites requiring a Secret or Top Secret clearance.
