Senior Financial Analyst, Business Analytics - Planning & Strategy

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Business Analytics, Planning, & Strategy Team for CBS Studios / Paramount TV Studios / CBS Network Entertainment. This position will work closely with the CBS Studios / Paramount TV Studios / CBS Network Entertainment executive leadership and finance teams to provide business analysis and help guide various decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Analytics, Planning, & Strategy, the position will:

Assist in series greenlight process and deal analysis for CBS Studios, Paramount TV Studios, and CBS primetime entertainment projects, ensuring financials are presented accurately and conciselyPartner with key FP&A, Strategy, Business Affairs, Production, Production Finance, Creative, and Streaming executives to develop financial modelsFurther develop current long range planning model to be a more dynamic/useful planning toolProvide key inputs to FP&A team including a comprehensive list of series production assumptions (both for in-year forecast and Long Range Plan)Support the development and implementation of the new Paramount Global ERP/Planning systemConduct ongoing analysis of key business drivers, trends, and performance indicatorsCarry out other ad-hoc analysis as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

4 years related experience in FP&A, finance, or equivalent quantitative rolesBachelor's Degree; preferably in Finance, Business Administration, or EconomicsStrongly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Entertainment, investment banking or management consulting experience preferredRequires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze financial data and build financial modelsAbility to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environmentStrong work ethic and an acute attention to detail requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environmentMust be highly detail oriented, with the ability to coordinate and prioritize to meet deadlines

Additional Information

Hiring Salary Range: $78,000.00 - 92,500.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
