In this role, you will work closely with QA automation test engineers, software engineers, business analysts, and key business stakeholders to ensure the quality of our cloud-based software, microservices and integrations between systems.What you’ll be doing:Provide guidance, mentorship and training to our QA test engineering teamDefine automation best practices and architecture for testing cloud-based software, proprietary microservices and integrations to 3rd party products, including microservices and integrations between systemsDevelop and write test plans for automation projects, ensuring they align with project requirements and timelinesCoordinate test automation architecture designs between projects where there are integrations in place or being developed.Ensure all automation test suites are executed as required and report test results in a timely and accurate mannerAnalyze and report test results, identifying areas of improvement and working with cross-functional teams to implement changesStay up-to-date with the latest software testing trends and technologiesCollaborate with software engineers, business analysts, and key stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and test coverage is comprehensive, including for cloud-based software, microservices, and integrations between systemsContinuously evaluate and improve the company's testing processes, methodologies, and toolsCollaborate with software engineers and architects to incorporate automated test runs with project builds where appropriateWhat we’re looking for:Minimum of 5 + years of experience in software test automation, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleStrong understanding of software development methodologies, testing methodologies, and software testing toolsExperience in designing and executing automation test scripts for web-based applications, APIs, and integrations between systems, including microservices and cloud-based softwareExperience with a variety of automation tools: The ability to work with a range of automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, TestComplete, and other commercial and open-source testing toolsFamiliarity with testing frameworks: Knowledge of popular testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, and NUnitExcellent leadership and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsBonus Points: Agile experience a plusExperience with coding automated tests in C#Experience with automating testing of mobile applications including on emulators and simulatorsEducation: Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering or equivalent work experienceTravel: Up to 10%If you are a qualified individual with a disability or a disabled veteran, you may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to access job openings or apply for a job on this site as a result of your disability.
