820/2 Team Lead (Flex Line)
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for assigning responsibilities to department personnel and coordinating department activities and personnel. Monitors department’s performance for safety, quality and productivity.
Assigns work and guides department personnel in completion of assignments in accordance with production schedules, utilizing labor and equipment in the most efficient manner.Performs duties of supervisor when he or she is unavailable.May be called upon to perform the following functions at the direction of the department supervisor:Trains department workers on assignments, assuring proper performance and work habits are being met.Keeps supervisor aware of personnel problems so prompt action might be taken.Is mindful of improved methods or processes in completing assignments. Implements new ideas.Completes departmental paperwork as required.Monitors department to ensure adherence to quality procedures and process instructions.Responsible for keeping areas neat, clean, organized, and under control.Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.
Position Requirements
Required: High school education.
Preferred: High school education and six months previous experience in a manufacturing setting.
