Information Technology System Analyst

Support all IT hardware and applications in an industrial manufacturing and office environment. As part of the IT team you will help remotely support other locations as well. Help to develop IT solutions used throughout the business to improve process times and reduce costs. Define, analyze, support, test and administer business related applications that are designed to meet defined project requirements. Participate on small teams and perform assignments to accomplish department goals.

Collaborates with other Technical Analysts, Senior Technical Analysts and end users.Essential Functions:Support and deploy appropriate IT solutions throughout the business. Solutions are built in house or are enterprise solutions implemented as part of a standard offering from corporate.Supports and deploys new hardware that includes laptops, shopfloor pcs, printers (label and laser).Support network and infrastructure updates and help deploy network resources with help from other team members. Supports all technical shop floor applications and end points.Understanding of app development using Microsoft Visual tools. (.Net, C#, Blazor or Telerik a plus)Recommend modifications to IT systems to improve and simplify business systems and reduce operating costs.Establish and develop methodologies for proper utilization of IT technology. (DevOps and Agile a plus).Evaluate and modify existing applications to accommodate changes in business or equipment configurations.Possible travel to remote locations to assist in the support and implementation of IT solutions.Provide after-hour technical support as needed.Key Responsibilities:This position may be assigned (but is not limited to) the following key IT disciplines and/or services:1. Help Desk Representative to close tickets submitted by division personnel.2. Support all types of IT hardware (laptops, PCs, printers, wireless, Network resources, etc.)3. Support all software applications (One off solutions, new tech, & corporate purchased/enterprise solutions)4. Refresh tracking of all hardware so they remain on warrantee.5. LAN/WAN support with direction from the infrastructure and security team member6. Be able to lead and manage projects7. Business systems understanding (IBM Mainframe a plus)8. SQL stored procedures, query, and DB design understanding a plus

4 year University / College degree – Information Systems or other related field3 years of related experience.Knowledge of commensurate technology for assigned area of responsibility.Strong interpersonal skills, relates well with all levels of the organization.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
